Cornish Cross Broilers
The Cornish Cross Broiler is the top meat chicken available due to their rapid weight gain and good feed conversion ratio. These birds spend their days on pasture where they express their natural behaviour by scratching in the dirt, eating fresh grass, weeds, and bugs. They are not given any antibiotics or chemicals. Based on visiting with customers in the previous season, the preference is for broilers that weight between 5-7 pounds.
